Cysts and low sperm count - any success stories?

Question

So I have PCOS and just did laproscopy to remove the cysts. Doc said there's nothing else he can see that would stop me getting pregnant. We are now monitoring ovulation to see if I am ovulating and if clomid is needed. My loving BF has low sperm count and motility, also abnormal sperm. (9million). He is currently on month 1 of taking clomid to improve.

​Anyone have any experience with these issues and had any success?

​Gunce- I read you have PCOS and conceived twice. Any words of wisdom?

Yes. Don't follow my path. :-)

​I took the nice and leisurely "it will happen let's not worry" approach. Until year 2 - when I changed to the "I have to make this a priority " path. That was much better.
​
​If children are what you want, make this a priority.  If overweight, try and lose a little bit - it so helps with pcos symptoms. 
​
​Are you on metformin? If not - definitely talk to your doctor about it. 
​
​And it might be worth considering IUI if medication doesn't improve your your partners sperm count.
