Is it to soon to take a test?

My period is always right on time.  The last month and a half I have been trying to get pregnant. I planned on my fertile days and have tried several other days too.  But anyways I am four days late on my period is it too early to take a test?

I would go ahead and take a test. If its negative take another one in three more days if you still didn't get your period. If the second one is still negative and still no period see a doctor.
