is just the tip rape?

Question

I didn't know at the time that that's what the guy who assaulted me did, but after my boyfriend teased me with just the head of his penis I have realized he put it in even though I told him not to. When I thought I felt it go in, I said "no", and he played dumb like he didn't do anything. 
I know he sexually assaulted me, but is that rape?
Edit: I am not looking to charge him. I have no contact with him because he blocked me. Plus I know there is not enough evidence to get him convicted of sexual assault.

Even after you told him no and he continued to do it I would say so. To do anything sexual against someone's permission is rape. It depends on what state you're in whether it qualifies as rape or sexual assault. Even if you gave consent once you guys begin and you change your mind afterwards it could still cross the line between rape. Rape is not how far it went in or that's not really how you make that call. Yes you can be raped even if it was your boyfriend or husband. Even a male can be raped. When you search the definition Rape is defined as unwanted penetration, whether that is oral, anal, or vaginal. Sexual assaultrefers to any unwanted sexualcontact, including fondling and molestation. 
Tell someone whether it be your mom or whoever so you can make a statement.

Rape is such a serious offense just remember that as you proceed and ask yourself what actually happened because if you're on here asking us if he raped you then I'm not sure if that makes any sense... you would know. There's no guideline of rape and no one can tell you it was or not accept you.
