At 6w3d I had an ultrasound done due to a previous miscarriage in June. My hcg levels were terrific as well as my progesterone. They were not able to find a fetal pole. I was then given the news of a miscarriage and prepared for the worst. I wasn't convinced so I pressed on with more questions and a second opinion. My lab work today shows my hcg has gone from 8300 to 30,000 in a week! They are going to do a second ultrasound and seem hopeful it may have been too soon! I'm not giving up on my baby! Has anyone else experienced this? I am new to the experience of all this early testing as we have three previous pregnancies with no concerns prior to my last miscarriage. I felt like they made the call way too soon!
