What age did you teach your child to hold their own bottle?

I want my 8 month old to hold her bottle already😩😩😩😩

Liliana already wants to hold the bottle herself. She's not strong enough or achieved the level of hand control to do it but here she is two days ago. She turned ten weeks today.

Do you teach that? I think at some point it becomes natural for them to want to hold it on their own

My baby girl was about 8 weeks when she started to hold her bottle.. I guess she tried because when I drive to my mom's house and she is hungry I give her a bottle and used a little blanket to help it keep it in place and after that she used her hands to hold it. Now she is 6 months and holds her bottle great and also a sippy cup.

My son just turned four months and he holds his own bottle.

My baby was 5-6mos. I would her hands to her bottle & she ended up holding it

Start doing it now!! My son is 12 months & he REFUSES to hold the bottle. Like he will starve himself and be so dramatic if you just hand it to him. He knows how to hold it but he just likes to be lazy!! I so wish I would have made him do this at a younger age lol.

My son learned at 4 1/2 months, but he could only hold it if he was laying down. I believer around 6 or 7 months he learned how to hold it all the time.

I never bottlefed but my son was comfortably holding and using a sippy cup at about 7 months.

As soon as my daughter started grabing things is when I was teaching her how to hold the bottle.she was about 6 months or so..
