EBF baby not pooping?!?!

Is this normal? She is 5weeks old. She's never had a drop of formula. My last breastfed baby pooped every time she ate. It's been 2days since she pooped. She's passing gas when we do tummy exercises. It just worries me a bit. I would hate for her to be in pain.

I ebf and thought the same.  I was told when they are going through a growth spurt, they may not poop for a few days because they are storing all the nutrients they possibly can to grow.  I still feel horrible, as I think it's still uncomfortable for the LO. I know how irritable I get when I don't go for a day or two.  😵

Normal. My LO goes a week sometimes. As long as there doesn't seem to be any pain, your LO is fine.

My daughter is 6 weeks old and ebf.. And she went almost a week without pooping. She finally did. But the dr said its normal for ebf babies to go a few days without

Our pediatrician said it is normal to go up to 7 days without pooping. Our LO has only gone 3 days max though.
