Opks, positive vs negative

I know opks are only positive if line is darker than the control line, but with that said I see many people post pictures with very faint lines or no lines and I seem to have multiple opks with darkened lines, not darker then control line though. And haven't noticed a positive yet. Is LH always present in urine with a surge right prior to ovulation producing a positive for a short period of time? I know my cycles are long but I'm going on like CD 30...

This is my first month using OPK and TTC. I've completely stressed myself out worrying about if I even ovulate because since I've been testing on CD 15 (I should've started sooner) I've gotten negatives. I'm on CD 19 today ?

Yeah, I'll be on CD 20 tomorrow so I think I may have ovulated early. I'll keep them in mind, thank you!

You should begin testing on cd 10 and continue testing until you see the surge. I get my test from dollar tree and they work very well.

I've read in my opk instructions that if it's darker than control line, then yes that's positive, but also its positive if it's pretty close to the color of control line. So I'm trying to bd every other day anyway but today I got a positive opk and it was just slightly lighter than control line! Baby dust to you!!

I got a positive opk test as well! Good luck ladies and let the baby dust cover us all?
