Major Depression with severe Generalized Anxiety ?

I'm currently feeling extremely depressed... Am I alone ? Can anyone please tell me what helped you if you dealt with these illnesses?

Everyone, EVERYONE deals with it differently.
For me, it helps to surround yourself with people that make me the happiest. Studies show that exercise and getting out helps, but honestly when you're depressed you lack so much motivation that that doesn't seem like an option. If you like exercise though, give it a try. 
Don't be ashamed to seek medical help! If you've been depressed like this for 2+ weeks, visit your doctor. Medicine can help, mental illnesses like depression are a result of a chemical imbalance in the brain, you can help balance those chemicals with medication. 
I don't know how old you are, but if you're a teen remember that approximately 1/5 Americans aged 14-24 suffer from depression. About 18% of adult Americans suffer from different anxiety/depression disorders. I'm sorry if you're not an Amerixan, but those are the statistics I know. Just remember, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!<3
(If you're wondering where my knowledge comes from, I have much personal experience with depression and anxiety, as well as I study in psychology. )

When it comes to depression it's all about finding something that will make you feel worth it. I used to read a lot and I continue to do so, I also found help in my boyfriend, I'd exercise in order to keep myself away from my bed, I just forced myself to do things I normally didn't do in order to get out of that dark place
