there's this guy

Okay, so I just got out of a two year relationship like three months ago and there's guy I met and he's so cool, stylish, got his shit together, and the whole package of what I always wanted. I'm a little scared to see where this goes. Due to the history of my last relationship. In my last relationship my ex-boyfriend cheated on me, lied, made promises that he has yet followed through. Like for an example: we were supposed to get an apartment together because financially wise it benefited us both. One for my education and two so we could be a "real" couple instead of us being at his mom's house. Instead of putting money for school, I invested so much of my time toward us getting an apartment while he was cheating on me and almost had a baby with his ex. Holding this secret for a year his ex came to me and told me everything that happened between the two. Ready to walk from that relationship the only thing that stopped me was the fact that he claimed that he bought me a wedding ring. But there are even ppl married who are unhappy. I do understand that my past is not this new guys past. I really like this new guy but, my only fear is that he will be just like my ex. Help, I need advice!
