When your doctor says you shouldnt be trying for a baby until your not depressed.

Well it sucks cause I have depression but I'm on medication for it, they are helping. She needs to understand it will be an amazing change in my life hopefully she will help me out again next month.

I think maybe she means until you get it under control a bit. Postpartum depression is even worse when you already have depression. She may not have worded it correctly but she wants to make sure you don't end up like Andrea Yates.

I'm a manic depressive/ have bipolar. Although my medications help me I still have good and bad days/ weeks/ months. I've never once been told by my obgyn that we can't try.

Just be super aware that you might get post partum depression, have steps in place for help if you need it but why shouldn't you ttc.
