Going to different hospital than doctor delivers at?

We want to go to different hospital than doctor delivers at. The hospital is far away, crummy, and in a bad area.  Anyone have any experience going to different one than doctor delivers at?

You aren't guaranteeed your doctor you've been seeing anyways, I've actually only had my doctor deliver 1 out of 3 babies so far, she wasn't on call with my others when they decided to come.

I will say the hospital is more important then the doctor. They just come in, deliver, and leave. The staff, and after care are sooo much more personal so I would def pick a hospital I like over my doctor delivering

Same here ! We went to see the hospital my dr delivers at and we didn't like it at all😑 now we're just waiting for labor to actually kick in and go to the hospital we want to which I already made sure and sent my paperwork to them in case any complications
