Pro's and con's? Anyone had experience with it? I'm inclined to do it, but I'm kinda leery too.

I had it for 3 years had no symptoms at all and had a period around twice a year then as soon as i got it taken out a month later was a normal cycle and ovulation x

Pros- you never have to worry about it until the three years is up, and it is the most effective form of birth control. It's also common to not get your period the entire time you're on it.
Cons- decreased sex drive, and is not fun if you are someone who gains weight easily. It made me gain 60 pounds in the 2 years I had it in my arm.

Pros- everything. No cons. I spotted for about two weeks but got a 3 month course of the pill on top and didn't bleed again for two years.
