washing down.... there⬇️

This is totally embarrassing. My mom has the brain of a 10 Year old and she wasn't really the best at explaining all the girl things that I needed to know. I'm now 18, and have no idea what to do when it comes to feminine hygiene. I occasionally find myself putting off a weird smell down there within 3-6 hours of showering. I have no infections or anything, and I think it's just from not washing myself properly. But I actually don't know how.. any advice would be great.
