Crash C section TMI

This is what happens when your micro preemie's heart stops beating. They had him out in under 2 minutes. Because micro preemies are so tiny and their brains are so delicate they try to take them out with as little squeezing as possible. That means they don't care how big they make the incision, or which muscles they cut through, or how roughly they retract. They also didn't have the time to give an epidural or any pain meds. Just put me under general and gave me pain meds after I woke up. But I would do it all again for my little man. He was 24w3d and is rocking the NICU.
