I've been lucky enough to do it unmedicated two times, and plan to with my third. If you can handle it, it's an amazing experience. But I totally get the need for medical intervention and when things just don't go right.

600% with. I'm getting loaded up with as much drugs as possible. I'd like to be able to rest some and enjoy what is supossed to be one of the happiest days of my life. Not be miserable for 8+ hours.

Yes yes "they don't always work!" I'm well aware. But I'll have more of a chance of getting some relief if I do get it, than if I don't get anything.

I tried very hard with my first and it was absolutely aweful. When I finally broke down near the end for it I had problems big problems. 6years later I asked my nurse what she recommended and I got it at 4cm,jumped to seven like that and next few minutes I was pushing. I felt beautiful and like a queen. I'm hoping to have the same experience with #3
You can tell differences of my labor by photos I was GREEN with the first one and my second I was myself

Without. We have homebirths so it's not an option. I use warm baths and showers and meditation for pain relief.

I had my first naturally, so I feel like I have nothing to prove this time around yet know I can do it again. I'm going to see how it goes :)

I had my daughter unmedicated Nov. 2015 and will also not have an epidural with my son in March. Medically I can't have one but I am planning on trying nitrous this time. Labor and delivery pain is no joke.
