What week did you put your carseat in your car?

Im almost 34 weeks and was just wondering when's a good time to put my car seat in. I'm also going to put my hospital bag in my car too cause I work a lot. Might go into labor while I'm at work, who knows. Either way, don't have to worry about forgetting it. Haha

If you put it in early and you're in an accident you will need to replace it. Also a lot of hospitals will make you take it out and watch you place it in safely. So pull do it twice.

I personally will be waiting to have my husband do it when we are ready to come home from the hospital. (Hopefully in a 19 short weeks lol).

I'm 34 weeks too! I think we are going to put ours in tomorrow. It will be nice to get used to driving with it and just having it installed just in case :)

I don't remember which week, but we put the base only in near the end of my pregnant, it was definitely after 36 weeks. I kept my hospital bag and car seat at the house. I didn't need anything in my bag until after delivery, so I had planned to have my husband or someone else bring it up to the hospital if I went into labor and was not at my house. I ended up being 10 days late and induced, so I never really had to worry about it.

Also, my hospital told me not to bring my car seat in. They just asked if I had a car seat, but said they did not want to see it and would not check to make sure baby was strapped in right. They said I had to hold baby as I went out in a wheelchair, that I could not put him in the car seat in the hospital. I guess it just depends on the hospital.

My husband put it in after I had baby while we were in the hospital. It's not that difficult so we hadn't really rushed to put it in. Hey, I was admitted and didn't even have my hospital bag or anything! 😂
