when should I test... DPO?

So I'm new to this whole TTC thing and it's been a bit overwhelming for me. I was diagnosed with PCOS a couple weeks ago and have been temping for this past couple of weeks. I'm not 100% sure when I ovulated but when do you start testing? How many DPO!? Help a newbie out 😂

I would not recommend testing earlier than 10DPO, and even that is still very early. Absolute best choice is to wait til ~14DPO, or a bit later, but many women start around 12DPO. Depends on how many tests you have and how much it upsets you to get negatives; checking early and getting a BFN and then checking again two days later and getting another BFN, and still hoping you're pregnant because you're not yet at your missed period ("There's still a chance!") can be an emotional roller coaster. That's why I personally try to wait. Baby dust to you! 💕

I usually wait till 14dpo to take a pregnancy test but this month I was feeling super pregnant I was crampy and my boobs killed so I took a test at 9dpo and got my bfp❤️
