first appointment?

What happens when you have you first appointment ? I'll be 8 weeks when I have my first appointment and i jus wanna know what happens ?

Even though I was already a patient with my obgyn it was a super long appt.
At first she reviewed my faxed  blood work  (I was tested through my family physician first) and confirmed it was correct. We then went over dates of my last cycle.
They collected a urine sample (this included a drug test and another pregnancy test). They drew blood to test my thyroid (I've had issues with mine). 
She asked me about 500 questions regarding any medication prescribed in the last 30 days, as well as questions regarding how I planned to stop taking one that was said to be unsafe. My SO and I filled out medical history sheets and family medical history sheets. We went over major health issues and birth defects. We were able to have an ultrasound done since we had our pregnancy confirmed prior to this appointment.
I also had a pap performed (with full STD panel and breast exam).

A ton of questions are asked and a ton of info is given to you. They might do a paper smear they will collect urine check your blood pressure height and weight some do an ultrasound some dont until later on. They will either do blood work or give you a script to go have blood work done. If you have any questions write then down and ask.

They take a urine sample to see if you have any sugar or proteins in it, they MIGHT do an ultrasound but typically insurance doesn't pay for one this early, and they attempt to listen to the heartbeat but sometimes this early you can't hear it. I couldn't hear mine until 10 weeks. Make a list of questions for your doctor before you go in.
