Anyone with a tooth abscess ?!?

It hurt so bad- Has anyone taken antibiotics?

I've been on amoxicillin twice this pregnancy for an abscess(incision and drainage) and then the root canal. It's fine but find out from your doc what you should take.

Some antibiotics are safe during pregnancy for tootg abscess and help with the pain. If its an actual tooth abscess, it needa to be drained. Ask your dentist.

Try putting some hydrogen peroxide on a toothbrush and brush until you can see the dentist.  I had one like that before on a friday after the dentist offices had closed and my entire jaw ended up swelling up-worked like a charm.  Mine was really bad that I was able to pop it myself very carefully.  It was the size of a golf ball and I placed that against a bone inside so it would pop.  Horrible taste but felt better.  Plus used hydrogen peroxide. Just make sure if you use hydrogen peroxide not to swallow it and to rinse well.  I let my dentist know.  He was fine with that since for root canals hydrogen peroxide is used.  Hope you feel better.
