when to use Doppler

Question

My sonoline b Doppler is supposed to arrive today! My doctor heard the heartbeat  on Tuesday and I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow so hoping I will be able to find it. Should I use it with an empty or full bladder? Also empty or full stomach?

Answer

I used mine at 11 and was fine. Don't do it after eating bc baby will be moving around. And do it with a comfortably full bladder. Not so much you're going to be in pain when poking around. Also when you start start low and center then side to side and angle the probe down toward pubic bone.
