Hi ladies!

We're TTC (1st mth trying but been off birth control since Dec). 

Here's the thing- I'm in a senior management role in my company. I really enjoy work and want to progress my career. I have just signed a 12 month contract/secondment to go and work in a different team. I was poached by my new boss. People at work seem to really believe in me and rate me highly, which I'm chuffed about! 

So where does that leave us TTC? My husband says oh well- people can't plan these things to the date so if I get pregnant soon, they'll need to just understand. Me, I feel like if it's going to take 1-2 months then I'd wait just say 3-4 mths so I got on mat leave near the end of my contract. BUT we don't know how long it will take... if it's going to take more than  1 year then I want to get started now!! I don't want to tell my new boss who fought to get me in her team that "surprise now I'm leaving". But I don't want to delay our baby if it's gonna take time. 

I don't really know what I want from the group. Just to vent. Haha. This baby thing is really hard and lack of ability to plan is really difficult. Why don't people talk about how hard it is to plan?? 😩 I feel like this needs more airplay!
