Induction ???

Question

I'm being induced today they are putting a pill inside my cervix at 4pm today then starting the pitocin at 4:30 in the morning. Has anyone ever had this done? How long did it take for the pill to ripen your cervix? Please help!!

1/4 of the cytotec pill was actually the only thing that I needed because my body recognized what it was doing and it took over completely. Never needed pitocin. It took 24 hours for me to go from 1 cm to 10 cm so it was slow progression but for an induction w/o anything else, not bad. :)

Got my cervidel in at 8pm then took it out at 8am had 2 hours where i didnt have to be in the monitors then at 10am started my Pitocin started feeling contractions at noon got my epidural at 2:30pm started pyshing at 2:50pm and had my baby at 4:05pm so pretty fast.

I went in at 8 pm for cervidil and pitocin was started the next morning. I was fully dialated by early afternoon, but my dr wanted me to wait a couple of hours to start pushing bc she wanted baby to move down more. I did have to push for a couple of hours bc baby's head got stuck, my tailbone was in the way. But baby was born at 7:21 pm.
