What is my first period on the pill going to be like

Will I have my period the entire 7 days of the iron pill or if my period was 5 days before I took birth control will it only be 5 days?

It's different for everyone. I started my pills the first day of my period, and then I got it on the 3rd day of my sugar pills. And yes, first month taking them.

My period wasn't effected at first...lasted the same amount and symptoms were just as bad, been on it for over a year and it has helped cramps a lot
