Can someone explain to me what an anti-feminist is? Is it a rejection of the idea of feminism as a whole (which would be pretty privileged) or a rejection of certain new age factions of feminism? Or something else? Is it an appeal to going against the norm?

Separating feminism into a before and after is probably a technique to devalue the crucial issues "new wave feminists" are fighting for today. Not only equity across sexes, but also across genders, boarders, and races.

Intersectional feminism is critical, and necessary since your stinky "pure old feminism" was racist and classist and homophobic and catered to only *certain* women.

A rejection of third wave feminism would be my guess. But I'm sure there's people who reject the idea of feminism altogether somewhere around here

Like with anything that has a broad label it can mean various levels of the same thing. But to make it simple where a feminist fights for equal rights for women, an anti-feminist fights for oppressive laws for the female gender.
