organic honey?? is it safe?

I caught a nasty chest cold and put organic honey in my tea today.  I started reading about it and it's about half and half--some sites says it's okay and others say it's not okay during pregnancy because raw/organic honey is not pasteurized.

What do you think?

I only eat raw honey and have been my whole pregnancy. I think it's one of those where the benefits outweigh the risks.

My husband is a beekeeper, we have gallons of fresh raw honey but I won't be having any. It's not processed and therefore it's not safe. Sad, but in staying away. Too many conflicting resources.

Raw organic honey is the only kind I'll eat. The other stuff is just sugary crap with absolutely no benefits.

This is the kind I have been using in my tea and so far so good with a healthy baby/pregnancy. You also could just heat it up with your tea.

My Dr said processed honey is fine but stay away from raw honey.

I've had raw local honey for weeks now. I never thought of it not being safe. I would assume my body is handling it pretty well.

I think it is better to eat it this way then attempting the store bought BS honey.

I used it when I had a sinus infection at 26 weeks. That was about a month ago and my baby is fine.
