My daughter absolutely does not like her grandmother (my MIL). Back story, my MIL lives in the same town, but only sees my lo once a month. The past couple of times, my lo has puckered up & started crying at the sight of her! I can't stand my MIL, so part of me does a happy dance every time my baby cries at the sight of her, but it's getting my husband down (I make it a point to not say bad things about his family to him. And I certainly don't say things to our 7 month old!). And, it's not because she's a stranger, my daughter has let complete strangers hold her with no issues. And she usually smiles at complete strangers. I just wonder what she sees that we don't. On the plus side, she absolutely loves my mother!
