how do you define a healthy relationship?

What makes a healthy relationship in your opinion?
 
Is it not having to go through each other's phones, not assuming that when you're gone they've got someone else to keep their bed warm?
 
Not wanting to tell the other girls in his pics comments to back off because you know all he's down for is you?

A relationship needs three things (from both partners): compassion, trust, and communication.

Trust. Communication. Respect. Patience. Understanding. Compromise. Loyalty. No verbal, emotional, physical abuse. That person is your best friend. You both appreciate each other's efforts. Both put in effort equally. Are emotionally mature for a relationship and everything that comes with it. You fight fair. You don't bring up the past or tear each other apart physically, emotionally. You don't accuse. You don't get jealous or possessive. That's control and lack of respect and trust, not love. That there is no sign of it on social media, you don't need to prove anything to anyone and no one needs to see or hear your dirty laundry. You keep your private life, private, it's no one else's business if you had a fight or name calling etc. It's not necessary. There is no need to go through someone's phone ever, clearly if you have trust issues then you have no reason to be with that person. Relationships aren't supposed to be hell, if they are then you are with the wrong person. You need to have complete trust, no jealousy or insecurities about the relationship, if you do again, wrong person. Biggest reasons for infidelity. People stop complimenting and supporting each other, they stop communicating, they don't appreciate the other persons efforts, they aren't there for them emotionally and they seek it elsewhere. People get tired of one sided relationships, one person doing all the work.

One of the major things you've got to accept in order to have a healthy relationship is you are not the same person! Sometimes you're both going to want different things and that's okay as long as you're happy :)
Also trust is a major thing if you're with someone and feel like you can't trust them that's not a good sign! It's very important to feel secure.

Another thing is that you have to keep moving forward, from my experience as soon as you or your partner get too comfy in a relationship there's gonna be some bickering.
