Swept membranes? What dose it do ?

When your doc sweeps your membranes what did it do for you?

It made me crampy. I walked like crazy after, but it never started my labor for any of my pregnancies- and I had it done more than once for each pregnancy. Haha but I've heard tons of women say they were in labor within hours of getting them, I just wasn't so lucky!

I went into labor with my first 24 hours later .

My sister had it done and was in labor within 24 hours. Everyone's body is different.

Second that, had 3 and still had to be induced although I was only 39 weeks at the time, plus they really hurt!!!!
