I'm that unlucky less than 1%

Ms
There are roughly 350,000 births every year
Approximately 1 in 10 pregnant women will develop preeclampsia- 10% chance of getting it.
Approximately 5 in every 1,000 will develop severe preeclampsia- 0.5% chance of getting it.
Approximately 600 women per year will end up with postpartum preeclampsia- 0.17% chance of getting it.
Not only was I "lucky" enough to develop severe preeclampsia...but I was one of those 600 women to end up with postpartum preeclampsia.
But I was lucky enough to end up with a perfectly happy and healthy baby girl 💕
