Unmarried in the AirForce?

So I'm 17, I graduate in May (due in June) and I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant. Okay so my boyfriend is planning to go to the AirForce (Basic & Tech School) and once he's stationed have me move somewhere near him (in a 1 bedroom apartment) with the baby. He says he wants to do this so he can live with me and be in the child's life.

Well u see.. I have scholarships if I stay here in my state. I still wish to go to college. He knows this, and thinks I should just get a job wherever he's stationed and work to pay to put myself through college & help out with bills. He's always saying he doesn't want to struggle but I feel that he's not going to struggle but I will! Not only that, but if something happens I want to have a career and financially support myself & baby.

I told my mom about this and she got PISSED. She said I'm not going ANYWHERE unless there's and ring on my finger and I agree. I'm not trying to force him into marriage, yet I feel he's just trying to play house with me. I don't think it's right for him to try and uproot me and my baby to be with him with no type of coverage. The AirForce won't even recognize me as anything, and if something happens to me (post partum or anything else) what am I to do? He says he doesn't want to get married right now (he's 18) he wants to be financially stable before he does.

Does it seem like we're (my mom and I) trying to force him into marriage?
