How many of you are unmarried and having baby?

Im feeling like I'm judging the order of things as we are expecting our first baby and not married yet.  I wish we were engaged before we tell family friends about the baby it would make me feel so much better about things. Wanted to see if others are in a similar boat and their feelings about it all :)

We have a 3 year old and expecting baby #2 anyday now. We've been together for 4 years. I want to get married but it's a bit complicated for us. And honestly not that big of a deal to me. I know for a fact he is the love of my life and I'm his. You just know. Marriage doesn't make us a better family. Just makes it "official" for the government. Lmao. I do have a wedding ring however. But it was passed down to me by mother. I wear it so the judgy people can eff off. 😂 I've seriously have had so many people tell me it's not right, we need to get married asap. And I seriously can't handle that crap. It's rude and unnecessary.

Every family is different. If you're not married big deal, a piece of paper doesn't define your ability to parent. We personally got married prior to trying to conceive. But like I said every family is different

I have been with my SO 17 years nearly. We have a 11 year old girl, angel babies and expecting our son at christmas. We are not married and no plans near time soon. We are not bothed by marriage we had a choice to get married and continue to rent a house or leave marriage to a later date and own our house. Bricks and mortor came priority to us id rather have our home then a piece of paper saying were married on it and no garenteed home. Marriage would be nice next year

We were unmarried and trying for a baby that resulted in a miscarriage. I really wanted to get married before we started trying again, we planned our wedding then found out the next month we were pregnant, so I was for months along when we got married.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 5 years and expecting out first. Initially I wanted to be married first and then when I found out I was pregnant. I wanted to be engaged but that hasn't happened either which kind of made me upset, especially since my side of the family is putting pressure on us to be married before the baby arrives. But now I don't care I know we will get married and we will do it when we feel the time is right and our main focus is on our daughter 😊 and if people have a problem with it, they can get over it since it's our life and not there's.
