piercings??

Question

I currently have 2 piercings my tounge and lip, I'm 32 weeks + 3 day's... I'm just worried encase I bite my tongue/lip during labour and cause damage or worst case I have to have an emergency c section and I need to waste time taking the piercings out.

UPDATE:

I've removed the piercings it's not worth the risk encase I bite them during labour or they get pulled out by accident or if I need to get rushed in for a c section... Thanks to everyone who commented

The hospitals here in Missouri will make you take them all out no choice due to if anything goes wrong and there is emergency where have do c section or anything else you can not have anything in I have tongue lip and belly done and have take it all out when go in hospital for labor

I would just get plastic ones to put in. I had to get my tongue repierced after having my daughter because I had it out for 3 days but with my son they must have forgot to mention it because my piercings all stayed in. I have several in each ear and my tongue pierced so I'm looking into getting all plastic toward the end of my pregnancy so I won't have to take them out

You can take them out and put them back in.

How long have you had them? I plan on taking mine out before labor, but I've had them long enough that I know they won't grow up if taken out for a while.
