Any of you ladies (who are/have been married) have a wedding? I know traditionally it's a religious ceremony. I want to elope and have a small ceremony. No super expensive dress or anything. But I want SOMETHING. My fiancé doesn't see why it's necessary. He doesn't mind having one- but he thinks it's pointless. He says you can get divorced just as quickly as you get married and that it doesn't say anything about a relationship. I don't know why I have it stuck in my head that I wanna get married! We're already like officially engaged. Thoughts? Does it matter if we're "married?" We don't depend on each other financially, and even when/if we get married I'm signing a prenup.
