When do you become a parent?

I think it just depends on when you personally begin feeling like a parent. I'm 32 weeks tomorrow, and still don't feel like I'm a mom. But that's just me, I wouldn't expect everyone else to feel the same. In most cases, I assume moms begin to feel like moms when they catch a glimpse of their little one on the ultrasound. I just don't really have that maternal instinct, never did, so I expect when I finally get face to face with my baby it'll hit me.

When you care for the child. When you love that child and you raise that child and help it grow into a great person.

To me, having a child doesn't make you a parent. You need to actually do something

When you rear, raise and nuture someone/something. Whether that be pregnancy or birth and beyond

I think your a parent from beginning of conception. You still carried a life no matter how early or late on you are. Xxx
