my MIL announced my pregnancy !
She put it on fb last night, completely out of spite because my husband said something to make her mad. That "something" was him telling her no, he wasn't going to wish her a happy birthday yet, because her birthday is November 3. She's crazy, I know. We asked her to take the post down and she refused, so we announced ourselves a little earlier than we wanted to. I'm 10+3 today, but we were waiting until 12 weeks.
But that's not all, folks! My husband just got out of the Army and we moved back home last month. We're staying at his grandma's house until we find a place, but 90% of our belongings are being stored in his brother's basement. My MIL owns the house. After the announcement this morning, she calls and says she's on her way to the house and we need to come get all our stuff out or it's being thrown away. So we rushed to get as much as our stuff as we could.
So now she has lost all relationship with us. She won't see us for the upcoming holidays. She won't be invited to our daughter's second birthday in February. And she for sure will not be informed of when I go into labor with this one. What would I even do if she showed up at the hospital?! 😩
Sorry for the rant. Anyone else with crazy MILs?
