Sadie Hawkins Winter Dance-- Should I ask my crush?

We met in one of my classes and at first we had this weird tension and kindve fought ( I know it's bizarre) anyway a couple of months has passed (he dropped the class) and we see each other passing through the halls and there is this vibe we get from each other as a "love hate thing" and to truly honest it is so hot😩. He is two years older than me he is a senior in high school and I am currently a sophomore. This is really early the dance isn't until Febuary, so I have plenty of time to figure things out but I really need some other opinion on the situation and what you would do.
