Slow or medium flow nipples?

How old is your baby and are you using slow or medium flow nipples?

6 weeks, slow flow. He makes such a mess with that, I'd hate to see him with medium flow.

Baby is 5 weeks old and I use the preemie nipples by dr brown as I switch between breast and bottle and don't want her to get lazy.  She was born at 38 weeks and is just now weighing 8 pounds so she's still very small.  She also has a lip & tongue tie so the slower flow makes it easier for her to manage & less messy.
