to eat or not?

Glucose test today second pregnancy, with the first I had to fast now this time I'm with Kaiser and they said I can have a light breakfast?! Help! Should i just fast to make sure I pass or is it better to eat??

I was told to avoid carbs/sugars before the test, and to eat a high protein meal.

Fasting won't make you pass. You should eat normally to determine if you have diabetes or not. This isn't a test you should try and get around gestational diabetes left untreated can kill your child!

I'd eat...i has to take that text to see if I'm hypoglycemic which I am, nd they obviously told me to fast...well by the end I was so weak I was seeing spots, so it's better to be safe than sorry
