biting

Well my 11 month old now bites while nursing. He has 6 teeth, over the last month is has gotten worse and worse. I don't want to wean him yet, I don't think either of us are ready for that but the pain of him biting down is making me consider it. 😞 I tell him no, I've shrieked in pain to get him to maybe associate it with pain, I've taken the boob away and waited a little before trying to nurse again. He doesn't get it, I think he thinks my boob is a teether sometimes. What can I do to stop the biting??
