I am 35 so I realize I am considered advanced maternal age and high risk. After eight months of trying naturally to conceive we consulted a fertility specialist to discuss our options. I didn't feel like I was ovulating as all the digital tests weren't telling me when I would have the hormone surge typical before ovulation. My fertility Dr had me start on Clomid and I took it from days 3-7. Then I had an ultrasound to check on my eggs, HCG shot 24 hours later, IUI 24 hours after that and we are pregnant! My 2 year old kissed my belly in the bath tub the other night and said, "Hi baby, I love you" before we even knew we were pregnant. I have no idea how to explain this besides the Holy Spirit. Pretty magical moment.
