Is anyone else having problems with cluster feeding? Avery is 5 days old today and I've been feeding her on demand. The last two nights all she wants to do is eat constantly.. If she goes to sleep and even think about moving her she wants to eat again. I've passed the swollen painful milk coming in stage, but now my nipples are driving me crazy.... I know we are getting proper latch, and I can feel the let down in the opposite side from which we are feeding.... Getting a little discouraged... If really rather not have to supplement with formula. Besides I can't sleep every time she does during the day with a 4yr old, 8yr and 9yr old (when they come in from school). Just need to vent, tried
pumping some so maybe daddy could feed at least I 've at night (he's offered) but only gotten about an ounce and nipples are sore already and
pumping aggravates that.....
