My sons rash or reaction is clearing up..it SO dry and I'm really worried it's going to scar. We have a dr appt tomorrow to see exactly what this was. I you all think this is going to scar? I'm worried about that.

Most likely not unless it went very very deep. I was 4 and fell into our fireplace. I was naked so I burnt my butt, my back, the backs of my arms and the palms of my hands, I had open blisters and had to wear special underwear and had qauze pads on everywhere. I didn't wear clothes for quite a few days I remember cuz everything hurt. I don't have any scars from them. Kids skin heals quite well unless it's a very bad and deep trauma. You can put vitamin e on it to give some deep moisture to it. I also use bio oil on me and my kids for cuts, rashes, eczema patches, pretty much anything that needs deep moisturizer.

Might sound weird, but if you are nursing put breast milk on it. It will clear it up and minimize the chance of scarring. Although it doesn't look like it would scar anyway. Breast milk really is liquid gold.

What did the dr say? My little girl is broke out and it looks alot like your son's rash. The earliest I can get her in is Thursday,  so just curious.  Hers started out on her face and moved down her little chest, I been giving her oatmeal baths.  Seems to have helped on her face but her chest is still pretty blotchy.
