how long do you heat breast milk for?

I'm going to attempt to start pumping this week. When in fridge- how long do you heat it for? Can you heat storage bags? When frozen-  do you let thaw in fridge or room temp? So many questions and soblittle time to look everything up.

Don't microwave it. It creates hotspots. I just put my frozen breast milk in a bowl of hot water and it melted pretty fast. Then I just kept it in there until it was the right temp

So I freeze my BM in freezer bags then thaw in cool running water. Takes just a few minutes. I then put what I need in the bottle I intend to feed from. Warm for 1 min per ounce.

Now if I'm not in a rush to get my frozen milk thawed then I prefer to thaw in the fridge. I will put it in water then place that in the fridge over night.

I have never warmed my milk in a warmer or microwave (microwave is strongly suggested against). I have warmed up my milk while rapid thawing under warm running water.

Just need warm running water. It takes no time at all.
