I'm getting the patch, it's the only thing that hasn't made me crazy depressed and anxious in the past, and I'm not interested in a long-term option right now. I will be using condoms too.

They'll give you as much info as you need if there is a particular one you're thinking about. I'm on mirena and love it. They usually always have a website with info too. All my doctors said mirena was one of their top choices

FTM & I just got mine today at my 6 week checkup & I got the implant. What they told me about the symptoms is that you can bleed a little bit more & have mood swings with it but it's different for every women so you may or may not experience any symptoms at all & you can have it remove whenever.
