I have pneumonia. Which causes me to cough constantly. Well before I went to the hospital to get medicine, I was coughing all day, all night and I injured myself. There's pulled muscles on my right side and inflammation in the cartilage between my ribs. Well it kills me. It hurts so bad. I can hardly move, I'm stuck in bed most of the day bc I can't do anything. Well they have me tylenol with codeine paired with guiafenesin (cough syrup) they also gave me oxycodone tablets for the really bad pains. I'm not taking those bc I hate how they make me feel. Anyways, they said there's no proven risk to baby from me taking these medicines but I'm scared they're wrong. I'm scared something will go wrong. But at the same time I can't stop taking it bc I'm in so much pain and the more I cough the more I reinjure myself. It sucks!!!! I was doing so well with needing nothing but nausea meds before all this happened. I was getting better, the pain was getting less severe then today I woke up and things were worse. I'm one unhappy mommy. Anyone else taking this or taking something and worried for their babies? ?
