Texting as friends is fine (tough he's allowed to have other friends to anyone that says otherwise) if it's flirty or sexting or if he's hiding the fact he's texting them and won't tell you who it is, then you have reason to be concerned

Hmm it honestly just depends on the girl and what they are talking about. . My Fiancé and I have all the same friends, so he has no reason to text our female friends just to talk. We can do that when we hang out with them in person... texting is a way to get away with a conversation that you are not a part of, maybe he has something to hide. I know he would feel weird if I was texting our guy friends just to talk...
