Cloth Diapers - Where do I start???

Question

So I am thinking about making the switch to cloth diapers but I have NO clue where to start, where to get them, how to clean them, etc?

Any advice on this is greatly appreciated! Let me know where you get yours, about sizes, how you clean them, tips on making it easier, etc!!

I know many women are passionate about using cloth diapers so I would love any input!

We LOVE our cloth diaper! 
We use BumGenius AIOs- they are a breeze to use! 
We bought 50 new and use ten or twelve per day. 50 is a large stash but I didn't want to do laundry everyday. 
BumGenius diaper run $20-30 a piece but I've seen large lots on Craigslist or Facebook of used cloth stashed for very reasonable prices. 
We soak the dirties in Castile soap and water until wash day. On wash day, I just run them through the wash machine with an extra rinse. We don't use special detergent- dreft or Castile soap only. 
I then line dry them in the sun.

It's so easy. The internet has amazing resources. You could also use a cloth service in your area as you get used to having a baby and using cloth

I was able to find a local baby store that offered a cloth diaper class. They tough everything from the different types. As to how to wash them etc etc. Very helpful and helped my husband and I make up our minds. Maybe look and see if there is anything like that in your area.

I recommend searching for groups on here and on Facebook. I've been learning a bunch from "Fluff Love & CD Science" on Facebook. They might take a while to approve your request to join the group so in the meanwhile you can check out "Fluff Love University" which is their website where they address diaper types and detergents and stuff. :) Good luck!
