IUD? is this normal?

Okay. I got my IUD a month ago I got it the day after my period ended. And I was told irregular period are normal for two months. But my period came on time. And when it came it was lighter but the cramps were still there. It didn't bother me much. But my period usually last 4-6 days. And my period seems to have ended since I'm not bleeding from my vagina(tampon came out clean when I took it out) but as the day go on and I go use the bathroom there is blood (I guess spotting?) on my underwear. I don't understand why. Is this normal with an IUD?Sorry for the graphic picture..
