It's not uncommon to find super cheap used breast pumps, because most don't want to get a used one for the safety issues behind it. But as long as you get all new accessories/parts, it's fine!

You can always buy new tubing, bottles and the cups that go over your breast. It's still a good deal. My insurence covered everything in this picture and more, my pump cost them over $350.

Check health and wic offices, where I'm at they have pumps that can be rented out for cheap and as long as you need it

Probably could make it sanitary but it'd be grossed out. That's just me tho ;)

It's open which means that breast milk can get into the pump (not just the parts that you can clean). The milk can then mold if it's been sitting for a while. That's why it's recommended to get a new pump with every child.

Only safe pumps to reuse are closed pumps (like hospital kind or Spectra S2). Then the milk can't get into the pump. I'd still replace anything that's open.

Should i do it?!
