What to do?

Please help nothing seems to help. I have a bad cold right now had it for 3 days and my ribs and body just kills from how much coughing I have done I can barley get out of bed. Anyone know what I can do to help?

A humidifier at night and a lot of honey in pregnancy tea helped save me.

oh my gosh- i have had a cough for 6 days and i wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy - if has been absolutely awful. my doctor said i could take robitussin so i've been taking that, drinking lots of hot water with lemon and honey and taking steamy showers and baths .... but it's so painful, everytime i cough. my ribs feel like someone's punched them a thousand times. and forget sleep! being sick and pregnant might be the worst thing ever. EVER. if anyone has any cough remedies, please share! hope ur feeling better 💕

I love to mush a lemon and then cut it in half and put it in a pan with about a cup and a half of water and boil it, then add about a tablespoon of honey once it's in a cup, and drink it as warm as possible. The lemon and honey have healing powers like you would not believe! It's helped me through the flu, asthma, colds, tonsillitis, strep... It's at least worth a try!

Cough medicine is pretty much it and Tylenol. Colds last forever in pregnancy too :( mine lasted like 2-21/2 weeks.
